This is the first New solo Pet Shop Boys release for some while. After a group has been quiet for a while you wonder if they have blown themselves out. Last year we saw the release of Alternatives which brought together well know (to PSB fans) B side tracks for the first time on one album.
Now the doubts in mind are over, no more rehashing of the old on to the New stuff.

Before struck me deep in my mind and that's where it still sits. It's one of those songs thats haunts you through the day, plus it's the PSB. Is this a typical PSB Song, I think, Yes. A great combination of vocals and music in the PSB Style, if Neil's voice wasn't there you'd still know it was the Pet Shop Boys. Great joy, this is not over. The EP the Neil said should do has some really good songs on it and I reckon Hit and Miss will be as popular as Before. The second CD of remixes is great, certainly helps my 30 min drive to work each day. I've been playing it for a week like this and it's great
