Chris and Neil, The Pet Shop Boys, have always been one of my
favourite groups. Something about those great 12" Remixes
and the way they have defined their own images have made them
a cult group even though the trend today is away from this sort
of music. It seems they are almost the last of the Synth Duos
from the 80's to survive with the same style of music.
As they once said they are the Sulky boys of pop music. Chris
is miserable and shy. Neil is just miserable. From the look of
them this may be true, but in my opinion it's the music that's
important and that's what I like. It seems you either are a Pet
Shop Boys fan or you're Not, there seems to be no middle ground.
A lot of people tell me they are rubbish, but all they've heard
is the one record on the radio. It's a shame more people don't
take the time to fully listen to their music and enjoy...

Neil about Pansy Kensit :"She's certainly the most good
looking girl we've ever encountered"
Chris :"I'm the Andrew Ridgeley of the..no, no, no, I shouldn't
say that. It'll make people think I don't do anything at all."

me and it worked."
Neil likes to drink herbal tea - especially the ones made with
Camomile Leaves
Chris :"I'll tell you a secret about Neil. He's got an action
man. It's dressed in combat uniform and he keeps it on his bookshelf."
Neil :"We have a talent for writing absolute slush that has
yet to be tapped. I think it's best left untapped."
Neil once studied Karate. But, he says, "if anyone looked
like they were going to attack me, I think I'd run away."
